Books for a Personal Curriculum

You know that Facebook page Humans of New York?

Recently I found a photo there about a guy who not only had to read to books for his college curriculum, but he decided that he should have a personal curriculum.

Isn’t that a really cool idea?

I have been trying to think of a way to have my own personal curriculum.

Here is what I have come up with so far:

Hidden Figures by Margot Lee Shetterly

The Immortal life of Henrietta Lee by Rebecca Skloot

Prisoners of Geography by Tim Marshall

The Book of Atheist Spiritually by Andre Comte Sponville

Marie Antoinette by Antonia Frazier

The Coming of the Book by Lucien Febvre

Mythos by Stephen Fry

Mediations by Marcus Aurelius

The Odyssey by Homer

12 Years a Slave by Solomon Northup

Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare

Little Woman by Louisa May Alcott

After this, I am not sure what to read. I hope it is a wide range of books. It’s one of those things where I hope to learn from them and to expand my reading.

If you have any ideas, please let me know. I would love the suggestions.
