Norse Mythology by Neill Gaiman

The great Norse myths, which have been inspired so much of modern fiction, are retold by Neill Gaiman. Tales of dwarfs and frost giants, of treasure and magic, and of Asgard, home to the gods: Odin the all father, highest and oldest of the Aesir; his mighty son Thor, whose hammer Mjollnir makes the mountain giants tremble; Loki, wily and handsome, reliably unreliable in his lusts; and Frey’s, more beautiful than the sun or the moon, who spurns those who spurns those who seek to control her. From the dawn of the world to the twilight of the gods, this is a thrilling, vivid retelling of the Norse myths.

So this is the second book that I have read by Neill Gaiman and I think I prefer this one. It was informative, interesting and I loved it. I love reading about myths and I don’t get to read about them as much. I also don’t know much about the Norse myths so it was so interesting to read about them. One of the cool things about this book is that it makes me want to learn more. And that is the sign of a good book. I would definitely recommend it and I hope you enjoy it.
